          Comedian who quit NHS dream wants native African cuisine in the UK

          A London trained gynaecology nurse who quit his NHS dream and moved to rural Africa is on a mission to export rare Southern African cuisine to England.

          Carl Joshua Ncube (42) trained in London in the late nineties, and lived in Essex, before travelling around the world to perform stand up comedy.

          “I am an Essex boy. I lived in Ilford, Romford, Stratford, Barking, Leytonstone, Walthamstow and Hendon Central” , he says.
